See the nook e-reader in Murfreesboro

Barnes & Noble in Murfreesboro has received a demo unit of the nook e-reader. Earlier today, they said it should be on display later today (Monday) or tomorrow. If you stop by and play with it, let us know what you think!

The nook is currently sold-out and will not be available until January.

The first reviews came out late last night. Check out the reviews from Engadget and Gizmodo. The overall theme seems to be that it's pretty good except for being a bit buggy and sluggish (perhaps expected in a first release). It has potential and many of the problems could be fixed with software updates.
